TOM FLYNN

I first got introduced to Tom when the Birmingham based head hit me up on Myspace and flipped me over some tracks to check out. To be honest I get sent a lot of tunes to download via Myspace and not all are to my taste but Tom's stuff grabbed my attention so I passed them onto Worthy to check out for his Anabatic imprint. This lead onto Tom getting his first release on Anabatic Records. He has also put together one of my favorite tracks this year so far, Marrakesh which is due to be released on Deadfish later this year and with another ep just signed to Anabatic, Tom is definately one to watch!

STUSSY TURNS 30!

Stussy London Chapter 1990


This year see's Stussy celebrate it's 30th anniversary. For me Stussy is more than just street wear, it was literally part of the fabric that was the acid house cultural movement which began to surface in the early 90's. This is what it means to me personally, I remember seeing clubbers back then wearing Stussy clobber and it's no differn't in the clubs of today.

TRACKLIST FOR DIRTYBIRD 5 YR COMPILATION ANNOUNCED

So the Dirtybird 5 yr Comp tracklist was announced on Claude Vonstroke's blog last week and guess what? It's going to feature the latest effort from Worthy and myself. Humble Mumble was put together last time Worthy was over staying with me in November and I knew we had made something special this time round. So as usual we sent it out to a few headz, Barclay (Claude Vonstroke) being one of them and he soon got back to us saying that the track had been killing it everytime he dropped it and he wanted to use it on the 5 yr comp... Result!
